Hatko Sound Barrier Supports Quieter Living Areas in Arnavutköy
Arnavutköy is one of Istanbul’s rapidly developing districts, where major transportation routes and residential areas meet at critical points. In this context, the Arnavutköy Municipality Highway Project stands out as an important application aimed at reducing the environmental impact of traffic noise.
The noise barrier system implemented by Hatko Sound Barrier provides an integrated acoustic solution along the highway corridor, helping to protect nearby living areas from road noise. The panels used in the project do more than support noise control; they also create a cleaner, more organized, and visually compatible roadside environment.
The green wave-patterned surface softens the visual impact of the highway infrastructure and establishes a more natural connection with the urban landscape. In this way, the project becomes not only a technical infrastructure application, but also an architectural element that improves environmental quality.
Developed for Arnavutköy Municipality, this application reflects Hatko Sound Barrier’s approach to combining acoustic comfort, durability, and visual integrity in urban and peri-urban transportation projects.
Hatko Sound Barrier continues to develop solutions for quieter, safer, and more livable environments in public infrastructure projects.
